     Release of the Painted Ladies

   

 
 



The students in Mrs. Vega’s Kindergarten class set their ten Painted Lady butterflies free with student teacher, Mr. Horosky.

  
   




Mr. Horosky introduced
the students to the life cycle of a butterfly over the past few weeks.

 

 

 
 


The children actually saw the butterfly in the caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly stages.



When the butterflies were ready Mr. Horosky brought the children outside to set them free.
