     3rd Grade Weaving
 


Third graders in Mrs. Makarewich's and Mrs. O'Callaghan's classroom have learned how to weave this spring.



As a follow-up to their Social Studies unit on Native Americans of the southwest, the children learned how to set up a loom using a shoe box and the steps in weaving with yarn. Their finished projects are quite colorful and will be used by the children in a variety of ways.
