Kent Center School competed in the Region I Track Meet on Friday, May 18. Students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades participated in eight different events. These events included the shot put, softball throw, high jump, long jump, shuttle run, 100 meter, 400 meter, and 4 x 100 meter races. Kent students placed within the top three spots thirty-one times. In addition, Kent was able to place first in four out of the six 4 x 100 meter relays. The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys' relay teams each finished in first place, while the 7th grade girls' team also earned the same honor.
