Every Time I Climb a Tree

Every Time I Climb a Tree
by 3 Makarewich

Every time I climb a tree
I feel the branches and bark
I see the ground below
I have trouble getting up and down
I see the elephants
I see moss
I feel the breeze
I feel bark fall on my head
I see holes in the tree
I see the U.S. Mail truck
I feel free
I see broken bark falling down
I see the elephants
I feel the breeze and I feel high up, almost touching the sky
I see the old wrecked barn out in the field
I feel like I am going to lose my balance
I see birds and I feel high up
I like to climb
Every time I climb a tree
