     Kent Memorial Library Walking Field Trips

 

 
  Students in Kindergarten through Fourth grade participated in a walking field trip to the Kent Memorial Library.

While they were there, students listened to a story, participated in an activity, and toured the library.

Mrs. Hunt, the library director, sent each child home with a journal, a pencil, and a library card application.
Using one of KML's books, second graders identified leaves
they brought from home.
 
One fourth grade class decorated treasure boxes.
 
These second graders also used a library book to identify leaves.
Third grade students created picture frames.
 
A first grade student read during browsing time.
Kindergarten students used colored pencils
with their activity.
The other fourth grade class created door hangers.
