February 4, 2008 Business Manager, Sam Herrick recommends, given the volatility of the special education out of district placements and legal outcomes, Region 1 would benefit in it’s financial flexibility and decision making by having a capital reserve fund, possibly, with the unexpended fund balance returned to member towns each year. Principal, Dr. Foster presented NEASC recommendations follow up committee minutes along with a NEASC Planning and Priorities Chart. She and Assistant Superintendent, Tom Gaisford are working closely with teachers in Professional Development, collaboration, curriculum, assessment, focusing on instructional strategies to engage students.
