December 19 , 2006 The Board received the preliminary Pupil Services and Regional School Services Center (RSSC) budgets, indicating a significant increase in costs for special education (15% or $625,000), mostly a result of an increased number of students requiring education services out of the district. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the regional accrediting association for high standards in education (www.neasc.org), have confirmed their The administration and faculty of HVRHS are discussing the proposal of increasing the science graduation requirements from 2 to 3 years. The Board approved a parenting leave for Assistant Principal Dr. Buchanan, whose expected maternity due date is April 2007. The Board unanimously voted to dedicate the HVRHS track to science teacher and track coach David Lindsay.
