  On the evening of March 1, 2002, the 8th graders   took the faculty by surprise in an upset victory   during the annual basketball fundraiser at KCS.   Despite the cheers of younger students, Mr. M's   dunks, and a big comeback by the faculty in the   second half, the tenacious 8th graders maintained   their poise and defeated the faculty in a 44-42   barnburner. Most importantly, they raised over $300   dollars towards the class trip in ticket and food sales.
