1   Take today off!

2   20 wall push-ups

 

1 minute wall sit 

      (3 sets)

3    Make up a new dance.  Teach a friend or adult and perform a show for your      family.

4    Pack your lunch and have a picnic in your yard.  Play your favorite picnic games today!

5    Leaping!  Reach with your front foot as you push off your back foot.  Can you leap for 10 minutes without stopping?

6   30 bicep curls with each arm 

 

20 squats    (hold weights/soup cans in your hands)

7   Use a deck of cards.  Name an exercise, pick a card and do that exercise as many times as the card says.  Face card = 20

8   Take five minutes before going to bed tonight and stretch as a family.  Everybody says one active thing they did today.

9   Hold the push-up ready position for 30 seconds (3 sets).

 

20 lunges each leg     (2 sets)

10   Spend time today hopping from place to place on one foot!

11   Go on a color walk in your yard.  How many colors can you find?  Do 10 jumps for each new color you find.

12   Play keep-it-up with a balloon.  How long can you keep the balloon in the air?

13  Get your school backpack.   Put a light load in it and take a “hike” around your yard.

14  Go outside and skip 4 minutes around your house. 

 

20 shoulder press with soup cans (2 sets)

15   Lie on your back with a ball in your hands.  Sit up, touch the ball to your feet and lie back down. Repeat 25 times.

16  Find five things you can jump over that are different heights.  Practice 10 jumps over each    object.

17  Take today off!

18  Water Day!  Go for a swim in a  pool, run through a     sprinkler or slip and slide in your yard!

19   3 minutes       shuffling side to side

 

3 minutes grapevine/karaoke

20   Dancing!  Play some music.  How many songs can you dance to without   stopping? 

21   Lie on your   stomach, lift your arms and legs up like Superman.  Hold for 30 seconds, do this 10 times.

22   Practice throwing into a target.  A basket or paper bag works great!  Remember to step with your        opposite foot!

23  Stretch all of your major muscles from head to toe!

24   30 jumping jacks

   (3 sets)

 

30 shoulder shrugs (hold something in your hands)

25  Go for a swim or play your favorite sport.  Get outside and have fun!

26  Practice jumping high.  Swing your arms up to help you get higher and higher!

27  Get out for a bike ride today.  No bike? Then go for a power walk with an adult.

28  2 minutes arm   circles  (2 sets)

 

20 lunges each leg      (2 sets)

29  Design your own relay race.  Use      different locomotor skills.

30  Take today off!

31  Find your favorite activity from this month and do it again!
