1  Plan a fun fitness day with your family.  Everyone can choose one special activity the family will do!

2  Help with a chore around the house.  Use all of your muscles to lift, carry or pull!

3  20 arm circles        (2 sets)

 

30 mountain climbers (2 sets)

4  Put on some fast music and dance!

5  Jump rope today and create your own trick!  No jump rope?  Make up your own jumping routine.

6  20 wall push-ups     (2 sets)

 

1 minute wall sit        (3 sets)

7  30 minute walk.  Enjoy the nice day!

8  Take turns moving across the yard in  different ways.  How many different ways can you move?

9  Set up an obstacle course using objects to jump over, go around and move under.  How fast can you do it?

10  Play two sports today and stretch when you are done!

11  Take today off!

12  50 jumping jacks  (2 sets)

 

15 bicep curls (2 sets)

13  45 second “V” sits  (4 sets)

14  Make up your own game and teach your family and friends.

15  Play hide and seek with a family member.  Run fast to hide!

16  Take a walk or ride your bike.  Stay outside for at least an hour!

17  20 lateral arm raises  (2 sets)

 

20 leg lifts while lying on your back  (2 sets)

18 Perform exercises during every         commercial break while you are watching TV.

19  Make a jumping obstacle course in your yard.  Remember to land on two feet!

20  Go outside and skip 3 minutes around your house 3 times.

 

20 squats (2 sets)

21  Run in the pathway of each letter of your name.  Can you run each family   member’s name too?

22  Go for a swim  today or play your    favorite sport.  Get outside and have fun!

23  Practice your jump roping skills to music.  Can you jump without stopping for an entire song? 

24  20 shoulder shrugs (2 sets)

Do 6 laps around your house, 2 sprint, 2 skip, 2 walk. 

25  Stretch all of your muscles from head to toe!

26  Find some books to jump over.  Spread them out in a straight line.  Jump hard and as long as you can!

27  Take today off!

28  2 minute crab walk  (2 sets)

 

50 jumping jacks       (2 sets)

29  Congratulations, you have completed our Summer Fitness!  Today you may choose any fitness activity!
