Kindness Is
Kindness is…
playing with your little sister,
getting the mail for your Mom when she has a baby in her tummy,
fixing your little brother’s shoe when he doesn’t know how to,
sharing your toys.
Kindness is …
picking up garbage,
telling your friend what the number 6 looks like,
giving your baby sister a bottle when she is crying,
helping an old lady cross the street.
Kindness is …
Finding a turkey and roasting it for your family,
Helping a friend if they fall down,
Kindness is…
Helping a baby bird that fell out if its nest,
Helping your Mom do the dishes.
Kindness is…
Donating blankets to someone who is cold,
Rescuing animals that need a home.
Kindness is contagious, so help someone out,
Kindness is courageous, that’s what it’s all about!
Kindness is…
Standing up for someone who is being hurt,
Taking care of Earth and all its creatures.
Kindness is…
Helping people who can’t help themselves,
Sending a card or letter to someone to make them feel good.
Kindness is…
Caring, sharing, lending a helping hand,
Giving, forgiving, being there for a friend.
Kindness is…
Making others feel special and important,
Donating our time to people in need.
Kindness is…
Helping cook Thanksgiving dinner,
Setting the table for the holiday.
Kindness is…
A friendship unbroken,
An expression of a loving or friendly emotion,
Mr. Gulotta’s favorite word.
Kindness is…
What’s doing right without a fight,
To make a smile worthwhile.
Kindness is ….
Something you use everyday and,
Something you can’t get without giving it away.
Kindness is…
Playing games together,
Making friends now and forever.
Kindness is…
Like bringing the cold into the warm, giving a needy person a place to stay,
Kindness is a form of giving in a loving manner.
Kindness is the best gift you can give. |
