Doreen Tango Hampton, author of the rhyming picture book
I Like Gum, visited Kent Center School in October.
 




Students and teachers in kindergarten,
first grade and
second grade welcomed the author in the library silo.  Everyone loved the way Mrs. Hampton enthusiastically read her book aloud.
       
   
     



Kindergarteners enjoyed the silly rhymes.




First grade students laughed and smiled as Mrs. Hampton entertained them with her story.
 



Second grade students excitedly raised their hands to answer questions from the author.


Everyone loved having Mrs. Hampton visit our school.
