Another KCS Invention Experience – Inventors’ Fair 2007 |

In the tradition of the past fifteen years, Kent Center School had its Inventors’ Fair in April. The invention process at KCS was open to all interested students in grades 1 through 8. |
||||

The whole school came to listen to our inventors explain their creations. A third grader explains his redesigned hockey helmet. |
||||
 |
||||
CT Invention Convention rules state that parents can only support their child by helping him or her gather materials, helping with specific tools, explaining concepts (such as wiring or circuits), and transporting the child to locate materials. The “Painting Dryer” was made by a second grader. |

KCS has a lot of animal lovers - every year there is at least one invention involving pet care. |

All the inventors received certificates praising them for finishing a project that required problem-solving, imagination, planning, research and perseverance. |
