||||
Author Carla Stevens came to talk to the Kindergarten class about insects. The children have been reading and studying about bugs for a few weeks. Ms. Stevens brought in live critters that she caught for them. The children were delighted when they found “extra” insects in some of the jars. Ms. Stevens talked to the children about different habitats that bugs live in, foods they like, and how long they can live. She also read to them from her book Insect Pets: Catching and Caring for Them. |
