Have you ever used a Chinese takeout box as a planter? The second graders at Kent Center School, with the help of 8th grade buddies, created wonderful Valentine planters for someone they love. Students used valentine candy, foam hearts, paper hearts, and stickers to decorate their boxes. Then they used sizzle, a decorative paper, and a plant to finish off the project. Students enjoyed working with Ms. Fitch from Lily’s on the Green to create this wonderful Valentine’s Day present. |
