Mrs. Menniti's 3rd Grade Celebrates St. Patrick's Day

Student’s in Mrs. Menniti’s 3rd grade celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in many ways.

We decorated shamrocks in a unique way,and created leprechauns with arms and legs that sway.

We danced a jig – it was fun I’d say,and practiced our cursive writing with a poem for
St. Patrick’s Day!

The student’s beautiful shamrocks…

Brian’s colorful leprechaun…

St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is here you see.
We’ll pick some shamrocks, one, two, three.
We’ll count the leaves and look them over,
and maybe find a four-leafed clover.
I’ll sew green buttons on my vest,
green for St. Patrick is the best.
I’ll wear a green hat, very high,
and dance a jig – at least I’ll try.

It was a great day!

Oliver’s phenomenal cursive writing of the above poem.
