| Each inventor received five invention activity pages over a month and a half. They were completed and returned to Mrs. Sohl, the Connecticut Invention Convention sponsoring teacher. She responded with comments, questions, and suggestions. These activities helped the inventors keep pace in the process from idea to actual invention, and provided an avenue of communication between the students and Mrs. Sohl. The activities helped serve as a structure for the required Inventor’s Log, too. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Although many students showed interest and began the process, a dozen children actually followed through and created inventions. Not only did they do an excellent job building their models, but all twelve explained their inventions beautifully, whether speaking to kindergartners, seventh graders or adults! | ||||||||||||||||||||
